UZMA HVS variable rake shears are produced of steel into a very rigid structure to allow minimum deflection during the operation. The rake angle adjustment is done hydraulically, reducing the rake gives an advantage in reducing distortion on thin narrow strips, which also increase the cut quality and cuts per minute. The cutting beam on the HVS variable rake shears have hardened slide ways working between roller bearings, so lubrication is eliminated and blade clearance adjustment can be done easily in mechanical or hydraulic systems. The UZMA HVS variable rake shears are equipped with a CNC control unit. The operator simply enters the material type, thickness, cutting length, cutting width and the CNC will automatically calculate and set the blade clearance, rake angle and back gauge position accordingly. The standard controller ESA 525 can be replaced by a Delem DAC 350 or a Cybelec DNC 60.
